As the Westfield W-League hits Round 3, here’s where some of your favourite Westfield Matildas are set to play this weekend.
SAM KERR
Kerr will lead the line as Perth Glory look to continue their blistering start to the season away at Adelaide United on Friday at Marden Sports Complex.
GORRY AND POLKINGHORNE
Katrina Gorry has scored in both of Brisbane’s first two games and aims to make it three from three when Roar visit Western Sydney on Friday evening at Marconi Stadium in Sydney’s West.
Roar’s defender Clare Polkinghorne will aim to stop Wanderers striker Rosie Sutton at the other end of the park.
WILLIAMS, CATLEY, KENNEDY AND VAN EGMOND
Superstar keeper Williams will look to continue her superb form between the sticks for Melbourne City when they host the unbeaten Newcastle Jets on Sunday.
Off the back of their derby win, her team-mates Steph Catley and Alanna Kennedy will aim to ground the Jets.
But Emily van Egmond and her Newcastle side will be keen to stretch their winning start to the season to three matches.
DE VANNA, LOGARZO, CARPENTER AND HEYMAN
And Lisa De Vanna and Chloe Logarzo will be determined to help kick-start Sydney FC’s season when they meet Michelle Heyman and Ellie Carpenter’s Canberra United, also on Sunday afternoon.
