What Is The e-League Draft?

FFA’s e-League allows EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18 competitors to represent the A-League’s elite top-tier clubs to determine an inaugural e-League champion.
Each club will have two e-League competitors, with clubs able to choose one competitor directly and the other via the draft.

WHAT IS THE E-LEAGUE DRAFT?

Each of the Hyundai A-League clubs will have to pick at least one (1) competitor through the FFA e-League draft.

A club’s draftee can be a competitor from either console division (Xbox or PS4), however, each team must have one (1) competitor representative for each console. Therefore if a team has signed an Xbox competitor outside the draft, then the drafted competitor must be a PS4 competitor, vice versa.

However, a club may choose to pick both competitors through the draft process if they have not signed a competitor before-hand.

The draft will adopt a “home grown talent” rule.  This means that if there are two or fewer competitors nominated in the draft from a single location (e.g. Central Coast), the club from that location will have first preference over such competitors.

Subject to the home grown talent rule, the clubs’ priority in the draft will be based on the clubs’ ranking on the Hyundai A-League ladder after Round 12 of the 2017/18 Season. Therefore the below order, is the official hierarchy of draft picks.
