Westfield W-League Sydney Derby rescheduled

The Westfield W-League Sydney Derby has been rescheduled after Sydney FC’s success at the International Women’s Club Championship in Japan.

The Westfield W-League Sydney Derby has been rescheduled after Sydney FC-s success at the International Women-s Club Championship in Japan.

The match was originally scheduled for Round 4 (last Sunday) however as a result of the Sky Blues progression to the later stages of the IWCC it will now be played at WIN Jubilee Oval at Kogarah on Wednesday 15th of January (kick off 7:30pm).

The Sky Blues finished third after defeating Colo Colo Femenino on penalties, having beaten NTV Beleza in the first round and narrowly losing 3-2 against Chelsea FC Ladies in the semi-final.

The new fixture details are:

Sydney FC v Western Sydney Wanderers
Wednesday 15 January 2014
7.30pm WIN Jubilee Oval, Kogarah.

Sydney FC-s other amended fixture due to their commitments in Japan will, as per the draw at the start of the season, be against Canberra United on Wednesday 29 January 2014 at McKellar Park in Canberra (kick off 7pm).

Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League team play in a double header this Sunday at Allianz Stadium, kick off at 2.15pm. Watch the girls against Melbourne Victory followed by the Hyundai A-League squad taking on Melbourne Heart at 5pm this Sunday.
