Football Federation Australia (FFA) has considered the incident involving Lisa De Vanna from the Round 4 of the Westfield W-League 2009 season:

Lisa De Vanna was guilty of breaching clause 2.1 of the Code, specifically “A Member must not bring FFA or the game of football into Disrepute” in the 31st minute of Perth Glory’s match against Adelaide United. In particular, Lisa-s conduct constitutes the following examples of conduct that is deemed to bring the game into Disrepute:

On the basis of FFA-s finding, FFA suspends Ms De Vanna for two (2) Westfield W-League Matches. However, one (1) match of this two (2) match penalty will be suspended for a period of six (6) months from the date of the offence (i.e. 24 October 2009).
