Congratulations Michelle, how did you see today’s game?
It was pretty hot weather but all the girls talked about was just to play the ball more around the field instead of running a lot with it. We were looking for seven to try and get the first ever Westfield W-League seven goals in a round, but six is good enough I guess!
Well done on your hat-trick, how does that performance rate in your Westfield W-League career?
That’s the best I’ve done so far, I’ve got two goals twice, so to finally finish off and get a hat-trick I’m very pleased with myself. I actually thought I was a bit unlucky, I missed a couple of sitters which I should’ve put away but to get three, I’m happy.
You play to win but a $500 Westfield gift voucher is added bonus I’m guessing?
I’m stoked actually. It’s good for women’s soccer to get something out of the game so I’m really pleased Westfield awards these vouchers.
What do you think you might spend your well-deserved voucher on?
I’m looking forward to buying some summer clothes.

It’s a big deal. It’s pretty hard for women to get sponsors because it’s not very public but thanks a lot to Westfield, they’ve really helped us over the years.
