The postponement of tonight’s Newcastle Jets v Adelaide United clash means there’s just one more game to come in Round 9 of the Westfield W-League this weekend.
But it’s an absolute beauty with unbeaten Western Sydney Wanderers hosting finals-chasing Brisbane Roar in a pivotal clash at Marconi Stadium on Sunday.
It was the Wanderers who prevailed when the two sides met earlier this campaign, with star import Kristen Hamilton scoring a sublime hat-trick.
But the absence of compatriot Lynn Williams (international duty) for this one may just give Roar the confidence to pull off a shock win.
