Brisbane Roar midfield Olivia Chance struck a lethal, swerving shot from distance to put her side ahead against Perth Glory on Sunday afternoon, and clinch Goal of the Week for Round 9.
Chance rifled the Roar into the lead in the 22nd minute – the first of four goals Brisbane scored in the 4-0 rout.
Benefiting from being left in acres of space on the edge of the box, Chance took Isobel Dalton’s cut-back first time with a left-footed strike.
The shot flew off the boot, swerving outwards as it flew past Glory ‘keeper Lily Alfeld and into the back of the net to get the home fans at Lions Stadium off their feet and spark a rampant Roar performance.
