The Westfield W-League produced some exceptional goals in December and we asked the fans to pick the best goal throughout the second month of the season.
And after a tight vote over the last week, we can now reveal the winner.
Sydney FC’s star striker Lisa De Vanna has taken out the gong for the final month of 2017 for her classy strike in the clash with Canberra United.
One of two nominations for the Westfield Matildas veteran, De Vanna’s goal against Canberra led the way with 37% of the vote.
Newcastle Jets’ Hannah Brewer was second with her bit of brilliance in the Jets’ recent win over Melbourne Victory, with 27.5% of the fan vote.
De Vanna made it on to the podium with her second nomination, her effort against Melbourne Victory (19.1%), while November’s winner – Jess Fishlock – goal against Canberra in December was fourth (16.4%).
