Westfield W-League 2014/15 Round 11 Review (Split Round)

The race for the remaining two berths in the Westfield W-League finals series is no closer to being determined after defeats for Sydney FC and Canberra United in the penultimate round.

Sydney FC slipped to fourth on goal difference as they suffered a club-record 5-0 defeat against premiers Perth Glory in Wollongong on Sunday.

Sam Kerr scored a stunning hat-trick leaving the Sky Blues facing a winner-takes-all scenario next week against fifth-placed Newcastle Jets.

The Jets saw off Adelaide United 2-0 on Saturday to move within a point of Sydney FC.

Canberra United need a point in the final round to be 100 per cent certain of staying in the top-four after they fell to a 2-1 loss at Brisbane Roar on Saturday.
