Her team mate, Heather Garriock, received the Goal of the Year Award for her finish to a beautifully constructed team effort in the opening round of the season against Brisbane Roar at Ballymore Stadium.

Although Sydney FC lost the Westfield W-League 2011 Grand Final, Head Coach Alen Stajcic was named the Westfield W-League Coach of the Year.

Canberra United and Westfield Matilda-s goalkeeper Lydia Williams was named the goalkeeper of the year.

Melbourne Victory claimed the Fair Play Award for the accruing the least number of yellow and red cards.

Kate Jacewicz picked up the Referee of the Year award after earlier this year receiving her FIFA referees badge.

The night started off with photographers capturing every frock and every twirl on the red carpet with Kyah Simon, Ellyse Perry and Melissa Barbieri dressed by Australian fashion designer Carla Zampatti.

“What a red-carpet stunners! The girls look absolutely gorgeous and so confident. I-m sure they had a great time wearing the gowns – they truly made our dresses look even more beautiful, I am so pleased for them all,” said Carla Zampatti.
