“Every year we go out to compete for the trophy and it will be the same again this year. It is never easy going so far [semi-final] and not taking it all home, but we have a strong team this year and I’m looking forward to the journey with the girls.”
FIRST ADDITION FOR THE NEW BOSS
Heyman’s return marks the first official player announcement of Heather Garriock’s tenure as Canberra United Head Coach.
“We are delighted to have Michelle back in green this season,” Garriock said.
“Not only does she bring a wealth of experience but she is an important part of our strike force upfront this season.
“I am confident she can continue to be one of the top forwards in the league.”
