Jason Hoffman and Ronny Vargas were on the score-sheet as Newcastle Jets beat Western Sydney Wanderers 2-0 on Friday night.
Hoffman turned in from close range after an unselfish pass from Nikolai Topor-Stanley in the 26th minute.
And Vargas made the game safe in second half stoppage time with a classic counter attacking goal.
