Gui Finkler will miss the upcoming clashes against Melbourne City and Brisbane Roar after returning to Brazil to see his wife Karine and the couple’s first daughter Rafaela.
The Phoenix striker had planned to be in Brazil for the birth, but his new daughter arrived early.
Finkler will be back in New Zealand on February 27 to prepare for the Phoenix’ clash with Perth in Auckland on March 4.
Both mother and daughter are said to be doing well.
