Go West! Get along to Campbelltown Stadium for a Wednesday night cracker, as Sydney FC take on Perth Glory!

Wednesday night offers the perfect opportunity for football lovers from Sydney’s West to get along to a live game and show just how passionate and vocal they can be!

Not only that, but it is also the chance to be part of a little piece of history, as it will be the first time that Campbelltown Stadium has ever hosted a Hyundai A-League game. So there are plenty of reasons to make your way to this inaugural occasion. Get your tickets and get ready to see all the thrills and spills of Hyundai A-League action, up close and personal!

The match will be something of a homecoming for Sydney FC and Australian footballing legend Brett Emerton, as he was born and raised in the Campbelltown area. He’ll be looking to make it a night to remember, so be sure to give the local-boy-come-good a very special reception as he and his team-mates look to go for Glory.

This is the second meeting between the two sides so far this season, and Sydney supporters will be hoping to pour more misery on their opponents.

In Week 6, the Sky Blues produced a thrilling victory in Perth. Mark Bridge was the hero, starting and finishing the move which led to the only goal of the game. Having taken the lead, Sydney then showed a fine rearguard action as Perth threw everything at them in the hunt for an equaliser. When their defence was beaten, Liam Reddy was on hand to perform heroics and keep the likes of Smeltz and Dodd out.

As well as aiming for a healthier result than the last time the two sides met, the visitors will also be hoping that they fair better than they did in their previous away game.

Their trip to Brisbane Roar was, to be honest, always destined to end in failure though. And that’s no criticism of Glory. Rather they were merely unlucky enough to find themselves up against a Brisbane side that was one result away from breaking the 74-year-old record of 35 unbeaten games set by NSW Rugby League club Eastern Suburbs.

Nobody was going to stand in Roar’s way, and so poor Perth found themselves on the end of a 4-0 drubbing.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see some live Hyundai A-League action in Sydney’s West. Get your ticket today and prepare for a cracking Wednesday night in Campbelltown.

It’s Sydney FC against Perth Glory and it’s in your neighbourhood! The footballing tradition has always been really strong in this part of Sydney and now is your chance to prove it to a nationwide audience. So, get your tickets today and be a part of this fantastic event. It’s going to be epic!
