It’s a massive six-pointer on Saturday! This game will define Glory’s run-in, so be there to roar them to three points!

After a disappointing defeat to Sydney a couple of weeks ago, Perth Glory have got their swagger back just in time to play their biggest game so far in the Hyundai A-League 2011/12 season. Last week’s win has left them four points behind Brisbane Roar, who travel west for this mammoth clash on Saturday.

It is the very definition of a six-pointer. If Roar come away with the win, then Glory can kiss their top-two aspirations goodbye, but if the home side can triumph, it will leave them just a point behind the current Premiers. What better incentive do you need to get along to nib Stadium and show your support? This game could be the difference between joy and despair at the season’s end, so be there and make your presence felt!

To add to what will already be a great occasion, the club is encouraging all supporters to wear white to the game. The team will wear their white away strip in support of charity partner, Therapy Focus, and prizes will be dished out to the best dressed fans. Also, there’ll be 5000 white scarves handed out for FREE. Pick one up from gates 1, 3 or 4.

Glory will go into the match brimming with confidence after seeing off one of their finals rivals last weekend. Newcastle Jets were sent packing on the wrong end of a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Adam Hughes and Billy Mehmet. Not only that, but Ian Ferguson’s side also struck the woodwork a couple of times and created plenty more chances.

It was the kind of performance that proved this is a team prepared to go for it in the home straight, and suggested the rather listless display in Sydney a week earlier was little more than a blip.

Their opponents on Saturday however, will be up for this one too. Ange Postecoglou knows that a win would almost cement second place, and would also keep the pressure on the ladder leaders in the run-in. They are certainly finding form at the right time too.

They’ve won three on the spin now, including triumphs against the Mariners and Phoenix. Last week, they were involved in a five-goal thriller against Melbourne Victory.

Besart Berisha got the ball rolling with a first-minute strike and then regained his side the lead after Harry Kewell had struck back. Henrique’s penalty made it three just before the break and, while Kewell’s second of the game made for some nervy closing stages, the Premiers showed their winning mentality by holding on for the points.

This is as big a game as Perth Glory have played for some time. While defeat wouldn’t be the end of the world, a win would shake Brisbane’s confidence and could be a massive step towards a top-two finish for the side from WA.

Shed, it’s up to you to make the kind of noise that will spur your players on to play without fear and to go all out for the win. They have been brilliant in recent weeks; can you match their performance in the stands? Noise, passion and guts lead to Glory, so make it count!
