Melbourne City forward Yonatan Cohen may well have opened the scoring in the Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final but it was club captain Aziz Behich’s stunning piece of skill that helped break the deadlock at AAMI Park.
Released down the City left hand side the Socceroos defender beat Victory counterpart Josh Rawlins to the ball before then producing a piece of skill that will go down in Grand Final history.
Spotting the underlapping run of teammate Andres Kuen, Behich lured Rawlins away from the byline before then performing an exquisite backheel that broke the game wide open in just the 10th minute.

Nutmegging Rawlins, Behich’s audacious piece of skill fell perfectly for the arriving Kuen and the Austrian then did the rest; teeing up striker Max Caputo to rifle one against the bar with the follow up then hammered home by City winger Cohen to give the home side the lead in the 2025 Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final.
