Western Sydney prodigy Lachlan Scott is confident the Wanderers are close to turning the corner after snatching a late draw against Melbourne City on Friday night.
Scott came off the bench to play a key role in the hosts’ late equaliser by pressuring City midfielder Neil Kilkenny into a stoppage time own goal.

The teenager believes the last-gasp equaliser is a sign the Wanderers are nearing the end of a five-game winless run.
“We came back from 1-0 down against a good team so (it’s a) good result,” Scott told Fox Sports.
“We’ve been playing well week-in, week-out and if we keep playing like this the wins will come. When they come they will come in bulk.
“If we get on a roll we will start to pick up some points.”
Scott replaced Kerem Bulut in the 67th minute at Spotless Stadium and enhanced his claims for more minutes with an enterprising cameo.
The young forward, who bagged a double on his senior debut in the Westfield FFA Cup in August, credited his development to the influence of his teammates.
“It’s special because they’re such quality players,” he said.
“To play alongside them, it improves my performance especially in training and out here I get better service. It’s great.”
