Western Sydney Wanderers have announced the signing of Israeli forward Lee Falkon for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.
The 25-year-old joins the Red & Black after two successful seasons with MSV Duisburg, having helped the club gain promotion to the top flight in Germany.
A bright talent from a young age, Falkon began her career with ASA Tel Aviv University, before moving to Germany with SC Sand and later to Danish giants Brønby IF, where she helped the side to the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The attacker has represented Israel 37 times, scoring six goals and comes to the Wanderers off the back of multiple successes, winning the Israeli Women’s Cup twice, the Israeli Ligat Nashim three times, German Bundesliga Division 2 and Danish Elitdivisionen and Women’s Cup.
