A local junior, the 17-year-old played his youth football with Marconi Stallions before joining the Wanderers Academy in 2017.
“I’m a local, I’m from Bossley and I went to Bossley Park High School,” Monge said on the Wanderers’ official website.
“Transitioning from the Wanderers Academy to the Hyundai A-League will help continue my development and I’m really excited for the challenge.
“I know it’s a big step, but I’m ready to put in the work and I’m really grateful for the opportunity.
“To represent my local club and wear the Red and Black is a real honour, everyone in the team has been really welcoming.”
Coach Markus Babbel has blooded a host of youngsters in the Hyundai A-League this season, with the likes of Tate Russell, Tass Mourdourkoutas, Mathieu Cordier, Nick Suman, Mark Tokich and Abraham Majok all getting a taste in the first-team.
Monge, who scored on his Wanderers debut in the Foxtel Y-League, is also a current member of the Young Socceroos.
The Wanderers are next in action in the Hyundai A-League on Saturday, when they take on Central Coast Mariners at Spotless Stadium.
