Wanderers FC – Your response

Football fans have rallied online behind Wanderers FC since their launch.

Hyundai A-League fans have been vocal on social media about the induction of Western Sydney Wanderers FC and so far the response has been overwhelmingly positive with fans lauding the name, kit, signings and colours the team have made thus far.

Here are some of your thoughts on the launch of Wanderers FC.

Frank Risorto said – If the kit and colours are anything to go by WSWFC are in for a fantastic first season in the A-League.

Luke Boncompagni said – Finally a new tean in Australian pro sports that has nailed it-s name logo, colours and stadium.

Dean Rosario said – Simply stunning! Looks like the FFA finally gets it. Well done and thank you.

Damien Quinn said – Great new kit and I love the logo. Very clean and professional looking, easily the best branding in the A-League

Tony Retsos said – Welcome to the A-League and good luck! It-s great to see the FFA taking the initiative to bring football to its spiritual home. Look forward to a great season

David Bloop said – Good job to everyone involved. Kit is nice and the logo actually looks like a football club logo. Kind of jealous about some of it I must say.

Paul Bagz said – FFA doing things right this time around.

Scouse roar said – Mint kit, logo and good inaugural signings, hopefully Parra Stadium is the venue for all but the Campbelltown game and they ignore ANZ totally.

Icicle said – Dig the kit! It’s Man U, Flamengo and AC Milan rolled into one. Nice work!

Robert said – I love the kit,and the logo and as for the name that wasnt my first choice but again very happy with it. I also love the red jackets and cant wait to buy Western Sydney Wanderers merchandise.

Steve said – As a Newcastle Jets member I say welcome Western Sydney Wanderers. Love the kit & colors. I feel we may have awakened the sleeping giant of Oz football.

John said – Western Sydney Wanderers FC have arrived . . . . and now the real work begins to build a membership of 10000 by the start of the football season in October. All stops have to be pulled to create the club the football forums talked about and the meetings demanded. So whats on the agenda Lyall & Kyle to get the club membership moving? Sydney FC has their membership renewal out next week.

George said – Kewell may have gone but Mooy is a star of the future and if he wants to dominate this league all he needs is good teammates.
