The Western Sydney Wanderers departed for Korea on Monday for the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final.
Having defeated last season’s Champions, Guangzhou Evergrande, in the Quarter Final the Red & Black now face the runners-up, FC Seoul on Wednesday to earn a place in the final.
“It doesn’t get much bigger than playing the semi-final of the Champions League,” said Wanderers goalkeeper Ante Covic.
“We’re really looking forward to it, we’re a chance to get to the final and go even further than that – there’s so much dangling in front of us.
“When we went to China we talked about how tricky it was going to be, how the atmosphere was going to be, how they were going to treat us and they didn’t disappoint.
“Going to Korea will be a different mentality; playing away first creates a different atmosphere but we’re prepared for anything that is dished out to us; we’re hardened up.”
The match kicks-off at 8:30pm (AET) on Wednesday 17 September and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 3.
