The Head Coach of Hyundai A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers FC, Tony Popovic, has been cited under the FFA National Code of Conduct.
The citing relates to comments made in the official post-match Fox Sports interview following the Hyundai A-League Round 6 match between Western Sydney Wanderers FC and Melbourne Victory on Saturday, 12 November 2016.
Popovic has an opportunity to provide a submission by 5pm (AEDT) on Thursday, 17 November 2016.
The sanctions applicable for a breach of the FFA National Code of Conduct include a reprimand, a fine and/or suspension from participation in a match or matches.
