Dimitri Petratos (Newcastle Jets)
Round 17 v Western Sydney Wanderers
Petratos doesn’t score average goals and this one in his side’s rout of the Wanderers was another classy effort.
After a cross from the opposite flank made its way to him at the far post, Petratos cut-back onto his left foot and curled a peach of a shot into the far corner.

Andrew Hoole (Central Coast Mariners)
Round 17 v Melbourne Victory
Standing over a free-kick almost 30 metres from goal, there weren’t many in Gosford expecting Hoole to produce the piece of magic that he did.
Hoole not only had the perfect amount of whip and curl but enough power to beat Victory gloveman Lawrence Thomas with a sensational strike.

Andrew Hoole (Central Coast Mariners)
Round 17 v Melbourne Victory
The Mariners attacker proved that lightning can strike twice…in the same game!
Much closer to goal this time around, Hoole showed brilliant technique to get the ball up over the wall and back down again to have Thomas floundering.

The Jets playmaker showcased all his silky skills in this wonderful goal against Wellington.
Brilliant close control, eye-catching dribbling and turns, complete with a powerful finish. Top shelf from Ronny!

Dylan Wenzel-Halls (Brisbane Roar)
Round 18 v Sydney FC
One of the bright spots of Roar’s tumultuous campaign has been the emergence of Wenzel-Halls.
And the speedy striker provided a moment he’ll never forget with his late howitzer to snatch all three points against the Sky Blues.

Diego Castro (Perth Glory)
Round 19 v Brisbane Roar
The special Spaniard started and finished the move which capped a 4-0 drubbing of the Roar in the west.
Finding Andy Keogh with a fancy back-heel, Castro continued his run into the box and eventually got on the end of Jason Davidson’s cross to finish with aplomb.

Eric Bautheac (Brisbane Roar)
Round 20 v Central Coast Mariners
Is there anything better than an acrobatic overhead kick which results in a goal?
Bautheac’s jaw-dropping effort came after he controlled Wenzel-Halls’ chipped cross on his chest and then went for the spectacular with devastating effect.

Alex Lopez (Brisbane Roar)
Round 20 v Central Coast Mariners
Just a few minutes after Bautheac’s stunner, Lopez produced his own contender for goal of the season…let alone month.
The Mariners failed to clear the danger, with the ball eventually dropping into the path of the Spaniard who blasted a wicked volley into the roof of the net before keeper Ben Kennedy could react.
