Round 5: Andrew Nabbout (Newcastle Jets v Wellington Phoenix)
The forward completed a convincing first home victory for the Jets with a classy curling strike against an outclassed Phoenix.
Roy O’Donovan commenced the move with cheeky back-heel and it ended in fine style, Nabbout bending his finish beyond Keegan Smith from the edge of the area.
Round 6: Goran Paracki (Wellington Phoenix v Perth Glory)
The goal that set Wellington on their way to a big win.
Roy Krishna pounced on a sloppy pass and played in Paracki, who somehow adjusted his body to far low past Liam Reddy from a difficult angle.
Round 7: Daniel Adlung (Adelaide United vs Central Coast Mariners)
They don’t come much sweeter than this. With his team trailing away to Central Coast, Adlung pulled one out of the top drawer to kick-start a stunning turnaround.
The Mariners were made to pay for failing to fully clear an Isaias cross as Adlung unleashed a ferocious first-time effort that whistled in from well outside the area
Round 8: Daniel Georgievski (Newcastle Jets v Melbourne Victory)
Against his former side, Georgievski produced a fine equaliser for the Jets in an eventual 4-1 romp over Melbourne Victory.
Dimitri Petratos drew two defenders and laid a back-heel into the path of Georgievksi to bend into the top far corner off his left foot. A peach from the marauding full-back.
