Three Hyundai A-League coaches have been nominated for the January Coach of the Month award.
Robbie Fowler (Brisbane Roar), Steve Corica (Sydney FC) and Tony Popovic (Perth Glory) are the nominated coaches.

Robbie Fowler – Brisbane Roar
Near the foot of the ladder at the end of 2019, Fowler’s Roar have begun 2019 with a bang to be right in the mix for finals football.
Roar’s excellent run started on New Year’s Day with a 2-1 win over Western Sydney Wanderers, while they also had further wins over Wellington Phoenix and Central Coast Mariners (both 1-0).
A 2-2 draw against high-flying Melbourne City was also a strong result, with Fowler’s impact also seeing the club sign experienced striker Scott McDonald in January.

Steve Corica – Sydney FC
It appears there’s no slowing down the Sky Blues on their relentless charge to the Premiership.
Corica’s troops have opened up a 13-point lead at the top of the ladder by winning all four matches they played in January.
It started with hard-fought 2-1 wins over Adelaide United and Newcastle Jets before back-to-back cleansheets in wins over Melbourne Victory (3-0) and Brisbane Roar (1-0).

Tony Popovic – Perth Glory
After a stunning December, Glory continued their outstanding form with another unbeaten month to start 2020.
Popovic’s side completed their club-record six-game winning streak by overcoming Adelaide United 3-0 and Western Sydney Wanderers 1-0.
They ended January with a 0-0 draw against Melbourne City as they kept every opponent goalless for the month and now look the biggest challengers to Sydney FC.
