With 422 goals scored across 135 matches – an average of three per game – it’s fair to say the Hyundai A-League delivered plenty of entertainment throughout the 2017/18 Season.
With upsets, goal-fests and drama aplenty, Season 13 produced some absolutely thrilling matches across the Hyundai A-League.
But which was the best match from 2017/18? We’ve narrowed it down to 10 but we want YOU to decide which fixture was the pick of the bunch.

Central Coast Mariners 1-5 Newcastle Jets (Round 1)
After falling behind early, the Jets quickly clicked into gear and it was ex-Mariners striker Roy O’Donovan who came back to haunt his old side with a hat-trick before half-time.
Dimi Petratos and young gun Joey Champness found the target after the break as Newcastle celebrated a huge win over their arch-rivals.

Wellington Phoenix 3-3 Brisbane Roar (Round 4)
In one of the most bizarre games of the season, Wellington raced out to a 3-0 lead inside 20 minutes with a brace from Andrija Kaluderovic and a strike from Roy Krishna handing the hosts a comfortable advantage.
Massimo Maccarone pulled a goal back for Roar on the stroke of half-time before a remarkable turnaround in the second stanza almost saw them claim all three points.
Avraam Papadopoulos made it 3-2 midway through the half before Maccarone netted his second from the penalty spot to make it 3-3 with eight minutes left.
Fahid Ben Khalfallah struck the post in stoppage time as Roar narrowly missed out on one of the all-time great escapes.

Central Coast Mariners 2-0 Sydney FC (Round 6)
In a shock early season result, Paul Okon’s Mariners netted in either half through Andrew Hoole and Jake McGing to secure an impressive 2-0 win over the defending Champions.
Alex Wilkinson struck the post for the Sky Blues in the second half but that was as close as Graham Arnold’s side got as succumbed to their first loss of the campaign.

Wellington Phoenix 2-3 Melbourne Victory (Round 9)
In a old-fashioned ‘game of two halves’, Wellington raced out to a 2-0 just past the half-hour mark following a brace to Andrija Kaluderovic.
Besart Berisha netted early in the second half to reduce the deficit for Victory before a horror own goal from Phoenix midfielder Goran Paracki levelled the scores at 2-2.
James Troisi completed the turnaround for the Big V inside the last five minutes to hand Kevin Muscat’s side a memorable come-from-behind win.

Melbourne Victory 1-2 Adelaide United (Round 10)
The ‘original rivalry’ delivered yet another cracker with Adelaide earning bragging rights after a hard-fought contest at Etihad Stadium.
Baba Diawara netted the opener for the Reds inside 20 minutes before Mark Milligan restored parity for Victory with a neat finish 10 minutes into the second stanza.
But George Blackwood’s strike with less than 20 minutes remaining proved the difference as the Reds claimed a narrow 2-1 win.
Sydney FC 6-0 Perth Glory (Round 13)
Led by the excellent Adrian Mierzejewski, Sydney FC put on a clinic to smack six past a helpless Glory outfit.
The Sky Blues lead 1-0 at the break before a second-half masterclass saw Graham Arnold’s men run riot, with Bobo finishing with a hat-trick.
Mierzejewski and Alex Brosque both got their names on the scoresheet as the Sky Blues sounded a warning to the rest of the competition.
Melbourne City 5-0 Adelaide United (Round 17)
In one of the surprise results of the season, braces to Marcin Budzinski and Dario Vidosic helped City to a crushing 5-0 win over an understrength Adelaide outfit.
Budzinski netted twice before half-time for City before three goals in the final six minutes saw the score blowout as Warren Joyce’s side bolstered their goal difference.
Newcastle Jets 2-1 Sydney FC (Round 22)
Buoyed by a huge home crowd, Newcastle produced one of the most courageous performances in A-League history to stun the reigning Champions.
The Jets were reduced to 10 men inside 15 minutes after Roy O’Donovan was sent off but remarkably grabbed an unlikely lead just prior to the break via Dimi Petratos’ penalty.
Sydney equalised through Bobo straight after the restart before Andrew Nabbout netted a long-range cracker to hand the Jets the lead to which they never surrendered.
Perth Glory 2-3 Sydney FC (Round 25)
Desperately needing a result to keep their finals hopes alive, Glory had a first half to forget as a Bobo brace and a strike from Adrian Mierzejewski handed Sydney a 3-0 lead.
Glory fought back with a brace to Adam Taggart giving the hosts hope but it proved to be in vain as the Sky Blues held on for a 3-2 victory.
Central Coast Mariners 2-8 Newcastle Jets (Round 27)
After three-straight losses, Newcastle bounced back in style to humiliate their local rivals at home for the second time this season.
The Jets lead 3-1 at half-time before running riot in the second half, with Riley McGree completing a hat-trick and Roy O’Donovan bagging a brace against his former club.
