Dario Vidosic will miss Adelaide United’s clash against Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night, after suffering a hamstring injury during training.
Vidosic complained of a tight hamstring during a boxing session and Reds boss John Kosmina decided not to take any chances, pulling him out of the squad to face the Wanderers at Hindmarsh Stadium.
It’s a big blow to Kosmina’s plans, with the in-form attacking midfielder looking back to his best in the Round 1 defeat of Newcastle Jets.
With Vidosic due to undergo a medical scan, pacy winger Fabio Ferreira will be drafted into the squad in his place.
