Angie Beard has signed a new two-year contract with Melbourne Victory that will keep her at the club until the end of the Westfield W-League 2019/20 season.
Beard, 21, joined Victory from Brisbane Roar ahead of last season and made a good impression during her first campaign in navy blue.

“Angie was a great asset for us last season – she fit in really well,” said Victory boss Jeff Hopkins.
“Anyone who watched our games would have seen just how hard Angie works for 90 minutes, not just in defence but also going forward.
“The fact she has decided to extend her stay here by another two years is really pleasing, she’s only going to get better and better.”
The re-signing of Beard is another boost for Victory, following the signings of Emily Gielnik and Grace Maher.
