Melbourne Victory captain Carl Valeri is eager for a shot at revenge on Sydney FC after slipping to a third Big Blue loss of the season.
Bobo’s lone goal at Allianz Stadium left Kevin Muscat’s men with a seventh successive defeat against the team that edged them in last year’s Grand Final.

But they could face a rematch as early as the Semi-Finals in two weeks’ time, a prospect that doesn’t Valeri.
The ex-Caltex Socceroo felt there was little separating the teams on Friday night.
“We created a lot of chances but unfortunately Sydney produced the goods in the front half,” he told Fox Sports.
“They deserve it. They’ve had a great season, a great two seasons.
“Let’s hope we come across them in the Finals Series.”
Valeri’s view of the narrow defeat was shared by coach Kevin Muscat, who bemoaned the early sequence that saw Sydney FC open the scoring just moments after Besart Berisha had spurned a golden chance.
“That was certainly difficult to swallow,” the Victory boss said.
“In the second half, yes Lawrence Thomas made a couple of good saves, but all the momentum was certainly with us.
“We had another one cleared off the line and created numerous opportunities.
“Certainly not disappointed with the performance, but disappointed with the outcome.”
