Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat has bolstered his squad with the signings of a Caltex Socceroos midfielder and an experienced Hyundai A-League defender.
Victory announced on Wednesday they have secured the signatures of Terry Antonis and Dino Djulbic.
“Dino and Terry are experienced footballers and just the type of players we needed to sign at this point of the season,” Muscat said.
“We’ve developed a really balanced squad, with plenty of competition, and we’re well placed to tackle a particularly busy period that will also include the Asian Champions League.”
Antonis has inked a two-and-a-half year deal with the club.
The 24-year-old has already featured 80 times in the Hyundai A-League during stints at both Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Antonis signed for Dutch Eredivisie club VVV Venlo at the beginning of the European season but didn’t play a single minute in the league for the club.
Meanwhile, Djulbic penned a short-term contract as cover for the injured James Donachie.
He’ll also help cover the loss of Thomas Deng, who is away with the Australian Under-23’s for the rest of January.
Djulbic was most recently playing in the Malaysian Super League and also has over 150 Hyundai A-League appearances under his belt.
Both players will commence training immediately and could be available for this weekend’s clash with the Mariners in Geelong, pending an international transfer clearance.
