Melbourne Victory have secured a new major sponsor, with the Addeco Group signing on as a principal front of shirt sponsor for the Hyundai A-League club.


Melbourne Victory have secured a new major sponsor, with the Addeco Group signing on as a principal front of shirt sponsor for the Hyundai A-League club.

With Intralot departing, Victory were in need of a new major sponsor, and the club, which has undergone a massive overhaul both on and off the field in the past six months, has secured a three-year deal with the HR and career services company for sponsorship of the home shirts for the A-League and NYL teams.

“We’re delighted to welcome the Adecco Group to the Melbourne Victory family and see many exciting opportunities ahead over the next three years.”

“They are globally renowned and share a like-minded vision with our club to lead the way in all aspects of their business, so we’re really looking forward to working with them to achieve great things,” Melbourne Victory Chairman, Anthony Di Pietro said.

“It’s a very exciting time for Melbourne Victory. We’re building for the future and to have secured a new co-principal partner of the Adecco Group’s stature is a massive boost.”

Adecco Group’s CEO Jeff Doyle said he felt Addeco and Melbourne Victory were a good fit.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed in an email to fans that the search for a coach has reached the second interview stage.

“We haven’t rushed the process as we were comfortable with the structures we had in place during the AFC Champions League,” Di Pietro said.

“It’s been a very interesting and challenging process and we’ve certainly been impressed with the applicants.”

“We have now further short-listed the candidates and will conduct second round interviews shortly, with a view to making an announcement regarding the new coaching structure in the coming weeks.” he added.
