Melbourne Victory will host Brisbane Roar in a pre-season friendly in Ballarat on Friday, September 1.
It will be Victory’s first pre-season friendly against Hyundai A-League opposition, and comes only weeks after it faced the same opponent in Westfield FFA Cup competition.
The Big V defeated Brisbane 5-1 in the Round of 32 last week.
Victory has won all three games since its pre-season started; two friendlies against NPL opposition and against the Roar.Â
Before Victory travels to Ballarat, it will face Oakleigh on August 16, and Adelaide United in the FFA Cup Round of 16 on August 23.
