Melbourne Victory will be Beijing-bound for the opening match of their 2010 Asian Champions League campaign following the confirmation of the official match schedule.
Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Guoan will host the Victory at Beijing Workers’ Stadium on Tuesday, February 23 which follows hard on the heels of the opening week of the Hyundai A-League finals, scheduled for Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February.
In fact, the first three of the Victory’s ACL fixtures overlap the Hyundai A-League finals, which conclude with the Grand Final on Saturday March 20.
The Victory’s first home game in the ACL will be against Korea Republic’s Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, March 9 before back-to-back matches against Kawasaki Frontale, away on Tuesday, March 23 then at home eight days later.
Melbourne hosts Beijing on Wednesday, April 14, followed by a potentially decisive trip to Korea Republic for its final Group Stage match against Seongnam on Wednesday, April 28.
