But on Saturday, the Big V boss also reaffirmed the respect he had for the Sky Blue half of Sydney.

“Arnie’s spot on. There’s a professional respect without doubt from the football side.

“I know personally there’s a great deal of respect between the two clubs at board level.

“Ultimately it’s a game of football that we’re all trying to win, but very soon the time will come when the words stop and actions will dictate who’ll win.”
