TV viewers set for armchair ride

Westfield W-League supporters across Australia will be able to watch the latest action with a weekly match to be shown on FOX SPORTS and ABC Television.

FOX SPORTS and ABC Television will once again broadcast 14 matches over the course of the regular season, as well as all three matches in the 2017 Finals Series.

Fox Sports and ABC will both show a LIVE broadcast of the Westfield W-League each weekend, commencing with Adelaide United’s match against Melbourne Victory from Coopers Stadium on Sunday.

Round 2’s Sunday broadcast will see the much-anticipated derby between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers from Allianz Stadium. Both networks will also broadcast the Saturday (November 12) match between Canberra United and Melbourne City.

There will be no TV coverage for Round 10 played on 1-2 January.

The Fox Sports coverage on channel 505 will be part of a double-header broadcast along with the Hyundai A-League match each Sunday afternoon at 2pm AEDT. ABC’s broadcast will also commence at 2pm nationally on ABC1.
