Transfer talk: Evra to Juve, ADP to SPL?

Could Manchester United defender Patrice Evra be back in Australia for a second year of FOXTEL A-League All Stars action?

That’s the talk coming out of Europe that the French full back is off to Turin – despite him signing a new deal at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have signed talented English full back Luke Shaw which may be why Evra wants out – he’ll also get to taste Champions League football with the ‘bianconeri’ if he signs with the Serie A champions.

If the deal goes through, the 33-year-old would be back in Australia in August to face the FOXTEL A-League All Stars a year after he started in Manchester United’s 5-1 win in the inaugural All Stars fixture in Sydney.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Del Piero could be a Celtic player by August.

Reports claim the former Juventus and Sydney FC legend wants to be part of the incredible atmosphere generated by fans at Parkhead and has issued a 'come-get-me' to new Celtic boss Ronny Delia.

The 39-year-old Italian legend was linked with a move to green half of Glasgow before signing with Sydney FC two years ago.

“Two years ago it was interesting and it would be interesting again. If we could talk then great,” ADP reportedly said.

"Celtic are a great team and I have always enjoyed playing in Scotland, so who knows?"

Champions of Italy, Juventus, take on the FOXTEL A-League All Stars led by the Italian champion Alessandro Del Piero at ANZ Stadium, Sydney on Sunday 10 August.
