Western Sydney Wanderers have today announced the signing of midfielder Marc Tokich on a multi-year Hyundai A-League contract.
THE DEAL
*He has signed a two-year-deal with the Wanderers.
*The 17-year-old attacking midfielder joins the Wanderers after a two-year stint at the FFA Centre of Excellence (FFA COE) in Canberra.
PLAYER PROFILE
*An Australian U17s representative, Tokich joined the COE in 2015 on a scholarship after being invited to train with the squad a year prior.
An impressive 2016/17 season saw Tokich crowned the Foxtel National Youth League Player of the Year at the Dolan Warren Awards.
More recently, Tokich was selected for a Young Socceroos training camp in February that featured four players from the Wanderers Academy.

“I’ve been working towards this since I started playing football and it’s definitely the first step in my professional career and I’m really looking forward to it,” he said.
“The set-up here at the Wanderers is very professional and it shows with the success that the club has had in the past and I’m sure it’ll be a perfect place to develop and start my professional career.”
