Socceroo Alex Wilkinson confirmed there has been some interest from Hyundai A-League clubs, with the central defender looking to settle his future by the end of January.
Wilkinson has been a free agent since leaving K-League champions Jeonbuk Motors at the end of last year.
The 31-year-old now has to weigh up whether he wants to continue his career in Asia or return home to play in the A-League.
“There’s been a bit of interest here and there [from A-League clubs] but there’s also been some interest from different countries in Asia as well,” Wilkinson told reporters on Wednesday at the launch of the Socceroos’ Jordan World Cup qualifier at Allianz Stadium.

“We’ll just have to wait and see. I’m looking at everything at the moment.
“It’s a matter of weighing up the options and seeing what’s best for me and my family. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we’ll get something sorted out.”
