Brisbane Roar have confirmed that the club has accepted an offer for the transfer of Dimitri Petratos to Korean side Ulsan Hyundai, subject to the player completing a medical.
Petratos, who travelled with the team to China, will head to Korea today and be unavailable for Wednesday night’s AFC Asian Champions League qualifer against Shanghai Shenhua.
Last month, the attacking midfielder agreed to join Newcastle Jets on a three-year deal commencing at the start of the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season.Â
Should the midfielder successfully complete his medical he will not link with the Jets next season.Â
Newcastle Jets will receive compensation should the transfer be completed.Â
Petratos made 14 appearances for the Roar this season and scored two goals, including a stunning long-range free kick against Melbourne Victor y in Round 15.Â
