Perth Glory have made a double swoop for striker Andrew Nabbout and full-back Nathaniel Atkinson, signing the pair on respective two-year deals.
Nabbout arrives from Melbourne Victory where he scored eight goals from 22 appearances this season.
The 27-year-old is joined by Atkinson who departs Melbourne City just days after suffering Hyundai A-League Grand Final defeat at the hands of Sydney FC.
Both Nabbout and Atkinson arrive in Western Australia with international experience under their belts; Nabbout lead the line for Australia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup while 21-year-old Atkinson has played at both Australia U-20 and U-23 level.
Perth Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata says the signings will assist Glory’s endeavours to compete in both the Hyundai A-League and abroad.
“These two latest signings illustrate in no uncertain terms our determination to build upon the success the club has enjoyed over the past couple of years,” Pignata said.
“We are assembling a squad which we are confident will enable us to be extremely competitive both domestically and in the AFC Champions League.”
But as two players arrive in the West five will depart, with the club announcing Ivan Franjic, Dino Djulbic, Joel Chianese, Tando Velaphi and Vince Lia have parted company with the 2018/19 Premiers.
Djulbic is calling time on his third stint in Perth having taken his games tally to 118 – the fifth most of any Glory player in history.
Franjic, a key member of Tony Popovic’s squad which won the club’s first piece of silverware, revealed he will link up with Macarthur FC ahead of their inaugural Hyundai A-League season.

Franjic arrives with the excitement of joining a new club in their first venture into the Hyundai A-League, and says he hopes to contribute to the creation of something special.
“Speaking with Ante [Milicic] about the opportunity to create and be part of a club from the very beginning at Macarthur FC was something I was very excited about.
“It is an honour for me to be part of the inaugural squad. To be able to create something special for the region and for Bulls fans will require a lot of hard work however I believe it will be all worthwhile.”
