The Central Coast Mariners have added another name to their squad overhaul, with the club announcing the contract of Matt Sim has been terminated by mutual consent.
Sim, who has scored two Hyundai A-League goals plus a record Westfield FFA Cup four-goal haul, made 28 Hyundai A-League appearances for the Yellow & Navy since joining the club during the 2013/14 Season.
Mariners Head Coach Tony Walmsley thanked Sim for his service to the club, and wished him all the best with his future endeavours.
“Matt worked hard to force himself into the team this season and got there on merit. His injury time goal against the Jets will be remembered for a long time,” Walmsley said.
“I’d like to wish him all the best for the next stage of his career,” Walmsley said.
Earlier on Wednesday the Mariners announced the signing of former Young Socceroo Matthew Fletcher on a 1.5 year deal.
