Transfer news: Ex-Wanderers skipper signs in India

Former Western Sydney Wanderers captain Dimas Delgado has signed for Indian Super League club Bengaluru FC.

THE DEAL 

*The Spaniard has signed a one-year deal with Bengaluru FC, known as the Blues.

*The midfielder joins former Hyundai A-League players Cameron Watson and Erik Paartalu at the club.

*The 34-year-old moves to the ISL after two seasons with the Wanderers, where he made 58 appearances and netted six goals.

DIMAS ON MOVE TO INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE

“I’m very excited to join Bengaluru FC and it will be a fantastic experience for me and my family in India,” Dimas told the club’s official website.

“I can’t wait to start and get to know everyone at the club along with my teammates and staff.

“I will give my best every single day to help my team and all the players, and hope to take the club to even bigger heights.”
