He will spend a season with PSV, who have the option to buy the 19-year-old defender once he completes his loan spell.

“I’m expecting very big things. It’s a very big club in Europe. I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to commence training,” Deng told the PSV’s website.

“I have come here to become a better player and I hopefully I can start training with the first-team.”

Deng made his senior Victory debut in the Melbourne Derby last season, going on to make 13 appearances in the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season.

He has represented Australia at both Young Socceroo and Olyroo level.
