Transfer news: City sign ex-Reds defender

Melbourne City have secured defender Iacopo La Rocca on a two-year Hyundai A-League deal.

*The 33-year-old has played 88 games in the Hyundai A-League since 2012 in stints with Western Sydney Wanderers and Adelaide United.

*La Rocca won a Premiers’ Plate and AFC Champions League title in Western Sydney, before winning the Hyundai A-League double with the Reds in the 2015/16 Season.

*He was also a Joe Marston Medallist [with Thomas Broich] in the 2014 Grand Final.

*La Rocca is City’s third signing of the off-season following on from Scott Jamieson and Eugene Galekovic.
