Teenage Caltex Socceroo and Adelaide United midfielder Riley McGree will move to Club Brugge on a four-year deal, the Belgian club have announced.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder caught the eye of many last season in the Hyundai A-League and in the AFC Champions League, resulting in a call-up to the national team squad in March.
The Belgian Pro League club have a strong connection with Australia having previously signed national team keeper Mat Ryan after he caught the eye in Australia’s domestic competition.
McGree has a contract for four years at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
