Former Melbourne City star David Williams has found himself a new club, signing with Hungarian outfit Haladas.
In a new adventure for the 27-year-old former Brisbane Roar, Brondby and Fury striker, he confirmed on Twitter on Monday he has secured himself a deal with the club from the Hungarian top flight.
Williams was released by City earlier this month.
He became the first player to notch 100 games for City, a milestone reached in the 3-2 win over Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park on January 9.
In all, Williams played 101 games for City and is currently the club’s all-time leading scorer with 21 goals.
