Young Australian goalkeeper Jack Duncan has passed his medical at Randers FC and will officially take up his two-year deal with the Danish club.
The ex-Perth Glory gloveman signed a deal with Randers earlier this month after impressing during a trial with the club in January.
And with the 22-year-old now passing his medical, he is now ready to begin his Danish career.
“It’s a credit to our development of goalkeepers as this shows we are a country that produces very good goalkeepers and it increases the options for our national team in the future,” said Duncan’s representative Buddy Farah.
“It also puts our Olympic team in a good position as its number one will ply his trade at a very good football club that has a history of developing and selling good keepers.”
Duncan, who has represented Australia at both under-20 and under-23 level, played eight times in the Hyundai A-League, making seven appearances for Glory and one with the Newcastle Jets.
He will begin training with the club when they resume their pre-season schedule in July.
