Melbourne City finally have their new-look coaching team in place after the appointment of Technical Director Alain Fiard.
City replaced the out-going Warren Joyce with new head coach Erick Mombaerts for the 2019/20 Hyundai A-League season.

The fifth-placed team from 2018/19 already have assistant coach Patrick Kisnorbo and goalkeeping coach Neil Young in place.
Cambodian-born Frenchman Fiard arrives with experience as the head coach of Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca, AJ Auxerre’s B team in France and Ho Mi Minh City in Vietnam.
Faird also held assistant coaching roles on two occasions at Auxerre and worked in the scouting department for LOSC Lille and Valenciennes.
