The teams are IN ahead of Round 3 of the 2024-25 Ninja A-League season
Melbourne City lead the league after two rounds and the reigning Premiers are set to welcome back two key players to their squad for Saturday’s clash with Central Coast Mariners.
Club captain and City’s record appearance maker Rebekah Stott is available for the first time this season after a hamstring injury suffered on the eve of the season; she’s joined in pushing for selection by young gun Shelby McMahon who is over a quad injury and ready for action.
Elsewhere, Sydney FC head coach Ante Juric has recalled Shay Hollman and Indiana Dos Santos to his squad for Saturday’s derby against Western Sydney Wanderers, while midweek Newcastle Jets signing Ally Boertje comes straight into head coach Ryan Campbell’s squad in place of the suspended Danielle Kryzaniak after the keeper’s red card against Perth in Round 2.
