Western Sydney Wanderers coach Ufuk Talay says his side “dropped two points” against Macarthur after a first-half goal was chalked off for offside.
Talay, disappointed by the final result at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday night, believed from where he stood that the goal was onside, but he accepted that the final decision belonged to the officials.
“Offside is black and white,” he said.
“They have the lines, they draw it up and make a decision.
“From where I am, I can say it was not offside! The hardest thing is that VAR is there to fix errors, and for me, look, offside is black and white. I would definitely have loved it to go in and be counted, but the reality is it didn’t.”

Talay felt his side could have “killed the game in the first half”, but took heart from remaining undefeated.
